Jackson visits...

Jackson and I visited my brother last week since he was still out of work and the kids had not started school yet. Unfortunately, Robyn had started school and we did not get to spend as much time with her like we wanted to. Jackson was fighting sleep and crying when I was packing up the car and I forgot to take my camera so I did not have any pics to post but luckily Robyn posted some and I wanted to share them. I really did enjoy visiting and the kids seemed to have a great time too. They didn't want to take a nap unless they knew I (Baby Jackson) would be there when they woke up...how cute!

Mommy's Poor Baby

Baby Jackson is battling his first virus. He was very fussy yesterday and I knew that wasn't my baby. He has slept most all day and is just not himself. Every so often he lets out this most pitiful cry and goes back to sleep. He has also had diarrhea today. He is not real interested in eating either but I wake him up to make him try. So I took him to the doctor today. And for an update on the stats...he weighs 12 lbs 13 oz and is 23 1/4" long now. We go back next week for his 2 month shots so they will check him again then. Also, the doctor said he wouldn't worry over Jackson refusing bottles, that he would take them at daycare when he was hungry enough. I miss playing with him, seeing his wiggles and hearing his happy noises....

Last Saturday

Billy was left to babysit for a few hours and called in Grandpa to help! He didn't do too bad although I was scared when I had only been gone about 10 minutes and the cell phone rang!! Jackson cried a little at first (fighting sleep) but then Grandpa rocked him right to sleep. And he slept until Mommy came home a little over 2 hours later!

Some are repetitive but Jackson has the cutest expressions in each one so I couldn't resist...

Surprise

Billy came home with flowers the other day! What a surprise to brighten my day. They are so pretty and vibrant. However, I don't have the photo skills in the family. I don't touch any settings. I tend to just point and shot as it is. One is too bright and one is too dark.





But if I dare use Billy's fancy Nikon...it gets a little better.

Someone's been sleeping in my bed!

When I was getting ready this morning after my shower, I put Jackson in our room where I could watch him. Next thing I know, this is what I see...

I'm still here!

I know it has been a while, but not a whole lot going on. Jackson has hit the 12 lb mark and continues to grow! He really is a good baby...but we do have our moments. Not much improvement on sleep and he now refuses bottles! I have a lot of work to do for daycare now.

Sleepy Baby

Our baby is growing...as of last Friday, Jackson weighs 10 lbs 14.3 oz and Daddy tried to measure him and got almost 23 inches!
